Summary: W.A.T.E.R.: Workshop on Advanced measurement Techniques and Experimental Research is a Summer School started in 2016 by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (www.vub.ac.be) and the IAHR Experimental Methods and Instrumentation Committee (EMI) (www.iahr.org).     The 2019 edition is warming up for a real summer week in Bologna, Italy. The Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering of the University of Bologna  approved the 4th edition to be held at the Hydraulic Engineering Laboratory in late June 2019.
