His main research interests are sediment transport, river modelling, and application of Bio-Ecological Drainage System (BIOECODS), the national pilot project for sustainable drainage system. He actively involved in research grants funded from the government agencies. He has experience in research and consultancy projects such as drainage improvement and flood mitigation projects, sediment transport modeling study, as well as application of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) and BIOECODS.
