Feedback from the participants of WASER/IAHR-APD/IRTCES Study Tourto the TGP
From Ms.
Winnie Ok Leung, Water Quality Specialist, Hong Kong Special Administration Region Government: She wrote:
I safely arrived at Hong Kong on 11 Aug (Thur) after the wonderful trip at Yichang which has been a very successful event. I am sure the rest of you already made the most out of the remaining journey at Yangtze.
The study tour was perfectly organized with your hospitality and professionalism. It has also cast a platform for technical exchange, which I am sure it does not just ends at this event but will certainly continue in the future.
Best regards,
Winnie OK LEUNG
From Prof. Arata Ichikawa, Professor, Graduate School of Fukuoka University, Japan
By the way, we were back to Japan without any troubles in your country. And 0ne week in the Three Gorges dam site, it was a fruitful week that I had never experienced.
However, I felt that you and your country would tackled with many problems concerned on this program, erosion, resettlement, soil and/or rock sliding, ethetic problem on the Gorges and so on. However, I am sure that you and your country could solve those problems.
Again, I heartily appreciate it to you and your organization that you gave us the many assitances during this study tour.
I and we are looking forward to seeing you in future, in Japan or China.
Please send a great regard to Prof. Wang and other people who concerned with this Project.

From Dr. Paolo Ronco, Ph-D candidate, University of Padua, Italy
Thank you very much for your kindly and precious assistance before and during the Study Tour.
I appreciate very much the occasion you give to me to attend this ST with the fellowship you provide me. I think this has been a really successful seminar, that give us the opportunity to see so closed the TGP and to discuss the matter with such specialists on this field. TGP is so big and interesting case that I'm sure this seminar has represent for a lot of us just the beginning with the study on these matters.
It has also represented for me a big opportunity for the exchange I had with others students and researchers from different countries, we had created links I hope we had the occasion to develop more in the next future. Was also very interesting the meeting I had with Dr. Chang and others experts relating next database project, I will discuss with Prof. Di Silvio maybe the possibility to collaborate in the next future.
So, many thank to all the organization, hoping to see you in Italy,
With my very best regards
Paolo Ronco
From Ms. Anna, Li Chunying, Hong Kong University:
Many thanks for your effort throughout the entire tour. We appreciate it very much. It is so thoughtful of you and all organizers that Huang Li and Yao Shiming saw us off at the Wuhan Airport. Now every one is already on their track for work here. If any activity occurs in near future, I would like to keep informed and try to participate or may glad to help organize also.
Thanks again and let us keep in touch!
Anna
From
Dr. Wong Ken, Hong Kong University, China All of us returned Hong Kong safely and resume to our busy work now. It was a nice chance to travel to the remote area and forget our work during this trip.
Thank you very much for your care during the whole trip. I was very much satisfied with the program. The only problem is sometimes we have to wake up early in morning, and my body and mind was not yet in a good coordination, haha. But in all the trip was very much enjoyable and I also got know a lot of good friends including you during this trip. Hope we can have more cooperation in the future.
Keep in touch,
Ken
