Dr. Subhasish Dey, Member of the WASER, from Indian Institute of Technology visited the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydro-power Research (IWHR) and the International Research and Training Centre on Erosion and Sedimentation(IRTCES) on May 23, 2006. He delivered a presentation entitled “Sediment threshold on generalized sloping beds” at the Department of Sedimentation of the IWHR. Prof. Guo Qingchao, Member of the WASER, chaired the seminar. Prof. Liu Qingquan, Member of the WASER and other 20 scientists, engineers and graduate students of the IWHR attended this seminar.
